This policy explains how Dualsy: Multi-Angle Recorder ("Dualsy", the "app") handles your information. Dualsy is a video recording app for iPhone and Android that captures vertical and horizontal video in a single session and saves them as separate files.
Dualsy is published on the App Store and Google Play by Flame Teknoloji Yatırımları Limited Şirketi. Subscriptions purchased through our web checkout are sold by Nexa Labs, LLC. In this policy, "we", "our" and "us" refer to these two companies in the roles described in section 2.
This policy is written specifically for Dualsy. Other apps we publish have their own privacy policies.
The short version
Your videos and photos are recorded, processed and stored on your device. The recording files are never uploaded to us or to any third party, and they are never used to train any model. There is no sign-up and no account to create.
Dualsy does make network requests: for subscriptions and purchases, crash reports, product analytics, remote configuration, diagnostic session recordings and advertising measurement. Each of these is described below.
For the Dualsy app, including analytics, diagnostics, advertising measurement and in-app purchases through the App Store or Google Play, the data controller is:
For subscriptions purchased through our web checkout, the seller is:
| Permission | Why Dualsy asks for it |
|---|---|
| Camera | To record video and take photos |
| Microphone | To record audio with your videos |
| Photo library | To save your recordings to your photo library and show them in the app's gallery |
| Notifications | Only if you allow it, to send you notifications |
| Tracking (iOS) | Only if you allow it; see section 9 |
You can change any of these at any time in your device settings.
Inside its own private app storage, Dualsy keeps recordings you have made but not yet saved to your photo library, thumbnails used to display them, and your app settings. We have no access to any of it.
Anything Dualsy stores stays on your device until you delete it in the app or delete the app. Recordings you have saved to your photo library are under your control there. There is no server-side copy of your recordings for us to keep, hand over or delete.
Dualsy has no sign-up, and we never ask you for your name, postal address or phone number. To run the app, keep it working and support purchases, we and our providers collect the following:
| Category | What it is |
|---|---|
| Anonymous app account | On first launch, Dualsy creates an anonymous account identifier so your subscription can be recognised. It is not linked to your name or email, and you are never asked to sign in. |
| Purchase and subscription status | Whether you have an active subscription, which plan, purchase and renewal events, store country and currency. We never see your card details. |
| Web purchase details | Only if you buy through our web checkout: see section 8. |
| Device and app information | Device model, operating system version, app version, language, country, IP address and app-generated installation identifiers. |
| Crash and diagnostic data | Crash reports, error traces and performance data, so we can fix problems. These do not contain your recording files. |
| Product analytics | Events about how the app is used, such as screens opened, features used, recordings started and saved, and paywalls shown, plus properties such as the answers you chose during onboarding and which version of an experiment your device was assigned to. |
| Session recordings | Recordings of app screens and interactions; see section 5. |
| Advertising and attribution data | Device and app information, IP address, your advertising identifier if you allow tracking, and events such as installing the app, reaching a paywall and subscribing, together with the campaign that brought you to Dualsy. See section 9. |
| Push notification token | If you allow notifications, a device token so we can send them. |
| Support correspondence | If you email us, your email address and whatever you write to us. |
We use Microsoft Clarity to record app screens and interactions so we can find bugs and parts of the app that are hard to use.
Your camera and your recordings are masked. Starting with version 1.0.18 of Dualsy, every view that shows your camera feed or your recordings is masked in the app before anything is captured: the live camera preview, the thumbnail of your last capture, the gallery, the photo viewer, the video player and its trim strip, and recordings you have not saved yet. Session recordings show a blank placeholder where that content would be, and keep only the rest of the screen, such as buttons and menus. Earlier versions of the app did not mask these views, so recordings made with them could include images shown on screen.
Session recordings are used only for diagnostics and improving the app, never for advertising, and are kept for up to 30 days. Your recording files themselves are never uploaded.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Türkiye, our legal bases are: performance of a contract for providing the app and your subscription; legitimate interests for diagnostics, security and improving the app, balanced against your rights; consent for push notifications and for advertising measurement that uses your advertising identifier; and legal obligation where the law requires it.
We use the following providers to run the Service. They act on our behalf and may use the information only to provide their service to us, except where noted.

None of these providers receives your recording files. No provider outside this list receives personal information from Dualsy, and we do not give your information to data brokers.
If you buy a subscription through our web checkout, your order is processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our online reseller and Merchant of Record, on behalf of Nexa Labs, LLC. Paddle collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details directly in order to process the payment, manage your subscription, issue invoices and meet tax obligations. Paddle acts as an independent controller of that data under its own privacy notice.
The checkout page is provided by RevenueCat, Inc., which receives your anonymous app account identifier and purchase status so the purchase can be linked to Dualsy on your device. We receive only what we need to activate and manage your subscription, such as your email address, subscription status, product and transaction identifiers. We never receive your full card details.
Refunds and cancellations for web purchases are described in our Refund Policy.
We advertise Dualsy on other platforms and measure whether that advertising works. This means some information about your device is shared with the measurement partners named in section 7.

Flame Teknoloji Yatırımları Limited Şirketi is based in Türkiye and Nexa Labs, LLC is based in the United States. The providers listed in section 7 store and process information on servers in the United States and the European Union, which may be outside the country where you live. Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Türkiye, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
Your recording files are not part of any of this. They are not transferred anywhere, because they never leave your device.
Dualsy is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and we require users under 18 to have a parent or guardian's permission. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal information, to receive a copy of it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent you have given. Things you can do at any time without contacting us: delete recordings inside Dualsy; delete the app to remove everything it stored on your device; turn tracking off in your device settings; turn notifications off; and revoke Dualsy's camera, microphone and photo library permissions.
To exercise any other right, email support+dual@lenalabs.ai. Because Dualsy has no sign-in, we may ask for information that lets us locate your records, such as your purchase receipt. We respond within the period required by applicable law.
Recordings are kept in the app's private storage on your device. Views that show your camera or recordings are masked before any diagnostic session recording is captured (see section 5). Network requests the app makes are encrypted in transit with TLS. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is 100% secure, and while we use commercially acceptable means to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may disclose personal information in the good faith belief that it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, to protect and defend our rights or property, to prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service, to protect the personal safety of users or the public, or to protect against legal liability. We may also transfer information as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Changes are effective when posted.
